The local government of Pasay City has prepared a total of 14 vaccination centers for its inoculation program, according to Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano on Tuesday.
At a Laging Handa public briefing, Calixto-Rubiano said most of the vaccination centers are big schools in order to assist a huge number of residents.
"Ngayon po, ang plano po namin ay magkaroon po kami ng nine teams per vaccination site and we have 14 vaccination sites. Karamihan po dito, halos lahat ay malalaking schools upang mas marami na po kaming ma-cater," she said.
Pasay City has put up P250 million to give free vaccines for some 275,000 residents.
At present, the city government is having talks with several companies for the storage of COVID-19 vaccines.
