A few days ago, the actress asked her followers to pray for her dad.

“Please help us pray for Daddy. Salamat po. #prayersfordaddynelson,” she earlier posted on Instagram.

In another post on February 22, the actress revealed that her daddy Nelson has already died.

She likewise expressed her love for her late dad alongside photo of them together.

“Pahuway na, Dy. Wa nay sakit ug ka-lisud para kanimu.Pinangga kaayo ta ka. Namu nilang Aljohn, Kyle, Kirk ug Kael (Magpahinga ka na, Dy. Wala nang sakit at paghihirap para sa iyo. Mahal na mahal namin kayo, nina Aljohn, Kyle, Kirk at Kael),” Manilyn penned.

“Love you very much. We all love you very much,” she added.

Her followers then sent their condolences to Manilyn and her family.

“My prayers are with you. Condolences.”

“My deepest sympathy and prayer”
“Prayers and Condolences Inday Manilyn and family. May your dad rest in peace. Amen.”

Meanwhile, details about daddy Nelson’s death have yet to be disclosed.

Manilyn Reynes is a veteran actress and singer in the Philippines. She already played important roles in various series including “Inday Will Always Love You” and “Meant To Be.”

A year ago, Manilyn moved a lot of netizens because of her video while singing in front of her father. The veteran actress and her mother sang the song entitled “You” by Karen Carpenter, and it was evidently appreciated by her dad.

A photo of young Manilyn also resurfaced on social media earlier. In the photo, she can be seen singing before a huge crowd which is said to be in her barangay. The viral picture attracted mixed reactions from her fans and from other netizens.
